Hi, I’m Sharon Johnson
When people ask me what I do for a living, I say, “You know how most women get busy and don’t make time for their own dreams and goals? Well…I help them with that!”
What I want to say is, “I teach busy moms how to go after their own dreams and stop putting themselves on the back burner for everyone else!”
What I really wish I could say is, “I’ve been a mess my whole life, but I’ve always had great ideas! What was missing was my belief in myself to be able to create success. I dug deep and realized there was a BADASS living deep down. A BADASS that I had been quieted, pushed aside as I tried to fit into what I thought everyone else wanted me to be.
I’ve always been driven and curious about people and how they do things to be successful, but somehow I lost that drive in my 20’s and 30’s.
So, I don’t have a rags-to-riches story. Mine’s more of a late-bloomer finally getting it together! I never found anything I really enjoyed doing. My husband always provided a very nice life. But I wanted to contribute to the household in a significant way. I wanted to be able to contribute to charitable causes and help our children as they grew up without touching the family budget.
I found my passion for health and wellness when I decided I had enough of being overweight. At the age of 36, I was determined to change. I went through a time when I was crazy person with eating. I ate so clean and healthy that I think I drove my family crazy. It was all because I was afraid of getting fat again.
Now in my 50’s I’ve chilled out alot. I never miss a workout but I also never miss a glass of wine either. My family celebrates with food, the richer the better. But we strike a balance because that’s what feels right. You can usually catch me with a glass of wine with dinner. And I’ll always share my dessert with you. I believe we can be healthy and fit and still enjoy the finer things in life.
